Believe it or not that is a passed test – see the word “passed”

The intent was to make sure our interrupt logic can stop a process.

in the GDAL build, some tests are meant to fail, and that is SUCCESS

no idea about the PostGIS ones --hth

LOL - The documentation even has a failed test:

  Test: test_lwgeom_segmentize2d ...NOTICE: ptarray.c:448 - ptarray_segmentize2d: Too many segments required (1.000000e+101)
NOTICE: liblwgeom code interrupted
NOTICE: liblwgeom code interrupted
NOTICE: liblwgeom code interrupted

passed

I don’t know what I was thinking when I put those in. Early on there were much fewer tests and then each release added more and more and raster and sfcgal addition made this exercise completely pointless but out of habit I kept on doing it.

I’d chuck them. Maybe keep the configure output.

The file doc\installation.xml has about 700 lines of output from make check. Do we need all that? In addition, the verbiage is a few years old (PostgresQL-12dev) and depending on the build environment you will get different messages even with a clean build.
