As you can read in the ticket a fix was pushed to all branches from
3.1 (3.1.9dev) to current master.

The fix was to properly document which functions were replaced by
which new name. Your additional function names will help fixing those
cases too before cutting a new release.

I think your new errors (st_combine_bbox) would still need a fix, but
I didn't see a ticket for them ?
