[postgis-users] View Problem

I'm tried to create a view as this:


 LAYER
  CONNECTIONTYPE postgis
  NAME ruas
  CONNECTION "user=postgres dbname=cadastro"
  DATA "geometry from area_log USING UNIQUE cod_log
USING SRID=-1"
  FILTER "cod_sec=1"
  STATUS  ON
  TYPE LINE
....

but it is not working at all. What could be wrong?
