[postgis-users] postgis_gist_sel error

hello,


I tried to install postgis today and everything compiled but
when I run postgis.sql I get lots of NOTICE messages.
They look like this:

NOTICE:  TypeCreate: changing return type of function geometry_out from
OPAQUE to CSTRING

followed by this error:

psql:/tmp/postgresql-7.3.2/contrib/postgis-0.7.3/postgis.sql:822:
ERROR:  OperatorDef: function postgis_gist_sel(internal, oid, internal,
integer) does not exist


My machine runs redhat 7.3 with postgres 7.3.2
and postgis compiled from the same source tree that postgres was
compiled from.

Could somebody help me to fix this.
