[postgis-users] Installation problem on Linux

It seems I have been bitten by the bug that has ravaged some of the 
Windows users of this list during installation.  I have a default 
install on RH Linux 8.0.  When I run:

psql -f postgis.sql -d storelocator

I get the following error:

psql:postgis.sql:18: ERROR:  stat failed on file 
'$libdir/libpostgis.so.0.7': No such file or directory

I am using the default PostgreSQL ( ver. 7.2.2-1 ) installation of RH 
8.0 ( I am using the src provided by the dist ) and PostGIS ver. 0.7.4

Any thoughts?
