This is all inspiring.  I'll be sure to check out the links David and Luigi
provided.  Actually the one that David sent - I saw after I shut off the
other email.  Haven't had time to test that out yet.

I am glad to see another idea on how to use Postgis's geometric potential. 
That makes four projects and future projects in the works.

It will be interesting to see the 3D aspect. My project won't need the third
demension until well after I have the 2D in shape.
