I know it seems odd, even perverse, but I am going to the ESRI Users 
Conference next week. I wonder if anyone else in the open source GIS 
world is going?

If you are, please drop me a line so we can do a group event of some 
sort (Fred's serves half price marguaritas between 4 and 5!) and talk 
about how to vanquish the Beast from Redlands. :)
